Boundary Maps: the Oct 23, 2026 Draft

Interactive maps of the district’s Oct 23, 2026 boundary draft, which closes Dewey and Lincolnwood. They use the district’s own lines and its Oct 28, 2026 counts of students who change school.

Boundary Overlay and School Closure Analysis Tool

Everything in one place. Today’s attendance areas against the Oct 23 draft: where each closing school’s families go, how many students move, walking distance, middle school feeders, who lives in the areas that change, transportation costs and a boundary builder for drawing your own map.

Its first two tabs, under Oct 23 draft (latest), are:

  • What changes: what the draft changes on the ground, with a swipe between today and the draft: longer walks, new hazard crossings, program moves, how full the receiving schools get, and middle school feeder changes.
  • Map Explorer: draw an area around each school by distance and see how many students live near it, with today’s or the Oct 23 lines underneath.

Proposed Map and Map Explorer on their own page

The same two tabs as a standalone page: quicker to load, easier on a phone, and simpler to share.

All figures are estimates unless marked as district counts. Each page lists its sources and methods.
