Comparison of Walkability for Scenarios 1A, 1B, 2DR, and 2FR

This analysis uses data made available by District 65 on the School Closure Hub to compare scenarios 1AR, 1BR, 2DR, and 2FR. Walkability is calculated by dividing the students with less than or equal to a .75 mile walk to school by the sum of all students. This uses IDOT hazards and hazards identified by D65.

Walkability for Each School by Each Scenario

This chart shows the percentage of students who would have a .75 mile or less walk to school in each scenario.

Walkability for Each Feeder Pattern by Each Scenario

This chart aggregates the same school data into each school’s repective feeder middle school and then shows the percentage of students who would have a .75 mile or less walk to school in each scenario.
